Quilts have long been a cornerstone of Missouri culture and tradition. In honor of Missouri’s 200th anniversary coming up on August 10, 2021, The State Historical Society of Missouri and Missouri Star Quilt Company, in partnership with the Missouri State Quilters Guild, teamed up to create the Missouri Bicentennial Quilt! Carolyn Morgret, Treasurer of the Knox County Historical Society, created Knox County’s contribution representing the county’s history of faith in God. The quilt was displayed in Edina at The Edina Sentinel office on June 27-28, 2020.
