It’s that time again! The next regular meeting of the Knox County Historical Society will be Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at 6:30 p.m. at the Blue Room meeting room, 105 S. Fourth Street, Edina. Come at 6 p.m. if you wish to dine with others before the meeting!
Agenda items will include: Winterization of museum, trivia event (volunteers for refreshments, prizes, workers), and the Knox County Christmas event (sponsored by the Chamber).
The program will be about Brigadier General Lewis Henry Little who fought in the West under General Sterling Price. He helped Gen. Price train the Missouri volunteers that soon joined the Southern armies. Gen. Little was killed in the Battle of Iuka (Mississippi) on 19 Sep 1862.
